When Bintu discovers that she is in love with the man whose father led the civil war in Congo that claimed the lives of her entire family, both of them must decide what is more important: justice or forgiveness.

Bintu and Patrick must figure out what love means, Bintu must decide if justice is more important than love and Patrick must decide if he can find love through forgiveness.
